Enjoy locally-made wines in a breathtaking historical setting. At what was once a turn-of-the-century flour mill, Baltic Mill Winery now offers a variety of sweet and dry wines that are meticulously created to please your palette.

See A Master At Work

At David Warther Carvings and Gifts, see how David Warther is continuing his family's carving legacy with intricately worked pieces featuring antique ivory, ebony wood and abalone pearl.This astounding collection includes miniature reproductions of sailing ships from ancient Egypt to modern times, and the gift shop offers seasonal wares, Warther knives, clothing and home decor.

Pick-Your-Own Fruit

Enjoy together time and the delicious berries. Moreland Fruit Farm is a pick-your-own farm and market. Mouth-watering strawberries ripen the first of June, followed by blueberries and black raspberries. Blackberries and grapes become ripe in July and August. Finally, apples and pumpkins are available during the fall harvest months. The Farm even offers horse drawn wagon rides to the pumpkin fields, so come back with the kids!

You will find fun and flavor at Sunny Slope Winery. They create small batch handcrafted wines and also offer made-to-order sandwiches and snacks from their deli. Every Friday and Saturday features live music from 6-9 p m. with no cover charge.

Wine with a View

Visit Doughty Glen’s award-winning winery, located in Guggisberg Swiss Inn. Sample delicious wines while watching the horses graze the hillside. They offer live entertainment most Friday evenings April through October. Perfect quiet location, and you can relax together on their outdoor deck.

Art and Nature

The Holmes County Open Air Art Museum is a fusion of art and nature set in a gorgeous wooded landscape. Spread throughout the grounds of The Inn at Honey Run, the region's only open air art museum showcases original works from regional artists of various backgrounds, mediums and disciplines. Enjoy a stroll together taking in birdsongs and beauty. The Inn at Honey Run also offers luxurious accommodations, and even features in-ground honeycomb rooms.

Breitenbach Wine Cellars offers over 40 varieties of award-winning wines. Stop to sample, and take a guided cellar tour to learn more about this Amish Country wine. Café Breitenbach is open for lunch, and they serve paninis, salads, and wood-fired pizzas.

Theater Experience
