Christmas Cookie Tour of Inns Picks up Steam

Celebrate Christmas at twelve beautiful inns of Amish Country during the 10th Annual Christmas Cookie Tour of Inns event. This year's theme is "Christmas Cookie Tour Express!" The tour, hosted by the Amish Country Lodging Council, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, December 9 and 10, 2017.  Saturday hours are 1-7 p.m. and Sunday hours are 1-6pm. Tickets went on sale August 1st, 2017 and will be available until the charity tour is sold out.

At each stop on the two-day self-guided tour satisfy your sweet tooth with delicious indulgences. The inns will offer inspirational decor and festive music. Many inns will also feature local business vendors! In the spirit of Christmas giving, all net proceeds from 2017 Cookie Tour ticket sales will go to Lifecare Hospice and the Holmes County Education Foundation.

Inns featured on this year’s tour are: Berlin Grande, Carlisle Inn Sugarcreek, Carlisle Inn Walnut Creek, Comfort Inn-Dover, Comfort Suites, Country Inn & Suites, Guggisberg Swiss Inn, Inn at Walnut Creek, Oak Ridge Inn, Sugarcreek Village Inn, Wallhouse Hotel, and Zincks Inn.  A special 13th “whistle stop” will be Warther’s Museum in Dover.

Tickets are $45 for a two-day pass. All tickets for the 2017 tour will be good for either day or both days of the tour, allowing guests increased flexibility. Each patron will receive entrance to participating properties along with a souvenir guide containing the recipes of specialty cookies available to sample at each inn.

Following the tour, a drawing will be made for a $150 gift certificate that can be used for lodging at one of the participating inns.
