Not only are they serving delicious wines, they offer classes, performances and other ways to experience each outing. Here are a few fresh ideas for a visit.

Ugly Bunny Winery near Loudonville, is open Thursday-Saturday. There’s a full schedule of events, including the frequent musical performances that can add to your experience of countryside and refreshment. Connected to Marsh Vineyards, the winery is named after an actual, 5-year old, pet Lionhead rabbit!

The Sunny Slope Winery in Big Prairie features a general store that has served the community since 1927, with a wide variety of food stuffs, dry goods and accessories for home and garden. The newest generation took over in 2016 to offer an array of small-batch wines. On March 16 they will celebrate St. Patrick's Day with music at 6:00 and 9:00.

Breitenbach Wine Cellars near Dover has over 40 wine varieties, including award-winning grape, fresh fruit, and berry wines, plus the unique dandelion wine! Tasting tours are available Fridays and Saturdays; music and events take place in the Tool Shed, Winemaker's Barn, and Roadhouse Amphitheater. Contact them to arrange for a tour of their wine-making laboratory.
