Local Restaurants Serve Up Warm Thanksgivings

If you’re looking for buffet-style options, Dutch Valley Restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located on Old Route 39 in Sugarcreek, their all-you-can-eat options include chicken, turkey and ham with sweet potato casserole, dressing (stuffing), noodles, creamed corn, green beans, and plenty more. Although not open on Thanksgiving day, Berlin Farmstead in Berlin will offer Thanksgiving meal carry-out package deals. A la carte ordering is available as well.To place an order, call by November 19. 

The Amish Door Restaurant and Bakery in Wilmot are open Thanksgiving Day from 10:30am-3pm. Walk ins are welcome. Reservations are accepted for groups of 20 or more. Please call 888-264-7436 to reserve your space in advance. The All-You-Can-Eat Buffet will feature slow roasted turkey, ham, broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, dressing, noodles, green beans and more. The buffet includes the salad bar and your choice of pumpkin custard pie, pumpkin roll, or apple pie. Adults are $19.99 and Children ages 3-10 are $10.99. Beverage, tax, and tip are not included.

Finally, the beautiful Tarragon restaurant at the Inn at Honey Run will be open on Thanksgiving, from 11:30-3:00.
