July 21-23 – 16th Annual Doughty Valley Steam Days.

Annual antique farm machinery show, at 5023 State Route 557, two miles north of Charm. At the annual show, see steam tractors, antique tractors and gas engines in action. Enjoy old-time country music and food from local vendors, plus draft horse pulls, tractor pulls and steam tractor games on Saturday. 

August 6 – Swiss National Day Celebration. On August 1,1921, three Alpine cantons swore an oath of confederation, which later came to be regarded as the foundation of Switzerland. Here in Sugarcreek, the Little Switzerland of Ohio, enjoy Swiss-inspired fun, activities for children such as face painting, and a fireworks display, all for free.

August 6-7 – 43rd Annual Harvest Festival and Antique Show in historic Zoar Village. Tour historic buildings, shop high quality artisans and dealers, enjoy a juried craft and art show and learn from historic demonstrators. 
August 8-13 – Holmes County Fair. Now in its 93rd year, the Holmes County Fair will be held at the new county fairgrounds for the first time, at 8890 Township Road 301 in Millersburg. The fair is known as one of the most family-friendly and affordable entertainment experiences of the summer season. Judging, entertainment, demonstrations, rides, food and more.
