Ohio Star Theater’s 2016 Season Preview

May 6, 2016

The show follows the story of an Amish farmer thrust into the middle of a presidential race. The show runs through November 8.

Opening in September is Mennonite Girls Can Cook, a comedy featuring a local cooking show that gets noticed by a Hollywood producer. The story is inspired by the real life blog and cookbook from Lovella Schellenberg. Mennonite Girls Can Cook will run from September 13 to November 4.

The season schedule wraps up with several seasonal performances. Our Christmas Dinner is a musical by Martha Bolton about strangers brought together by a snowstorm. It will be showing November 18 – December 17. For two nights, December 2-3, The Erwins will bring their gospel style to town with a special Christmas concert. And celebrate New Year’s Eve at the annual Party with a Purpose featuring gospel singer Jason Crabb and ventriloquist David Pendleton.

All Ohio Star Theater shows are performed at Dutch Valley, 1343 Old Route 39 in Sugarcreek. Tickets range in price from $22-$73. To purchase tickets or see a complete schedule, click here for complete details.
